i woke up to the sweet scent of fresh morning dew. white fluffy clouds waltzing across the clear blue skies. sunshine!!! oh, how i missed this familiar warmth...

my whole world immediately brightens up as i embrace this beautiful new day with a smile of contentment. i've not felt so peaceful for a long time...

there's a piece of chai tow kuey, three freshly baked pong piahs, a slice of banana cake in crispy coconut crust and a packet of aromatic kopi siu dai on my desk today, compliments of caring colleagues. that covers breakfast and tea breaks for the day.
